About the Instructor
Passionate about data – and the platforms that harness it – Aneesha Rao constructs innovative frameworks to evaluate, analyze and eventually solve problems.
Aneesha has worked for and with companies like Google, Betabrand, Outdoor Voices, Capital One, and more. She is currently the Head of Growth at Coop Home Goods, a startup based in Los Angeles, California. She is the founder of Lantera Labs, an organization based in Richmond, Virginia that serves to democratize access to technology by offering free technology courses to those in minority communities.
Aneesha is obsessed with community engagement, minorities taking leadership roles in the technology sector, and humanism in general. She’s a proud resident of Richmond, Virginia, and hopes to serve her community with programs and empathy – in both the near and long future.

Who is this course designed for?
We created this intro course for people who want to break into the digital marketing realm. It’s great for people who want to level up at their current job, entrepreneurs and small business owners, and those who are exploring a career switch.

Nothing at all!

Yes. You’ll need to have internet access and the ability to download and use the following programs:
- Zoom
- G-Suite
- Slack

Is this course taught in-person or online?
Online for now! We’ll be using Zoom for live classes.

What else is there to know?
This marketing course is project based, so you’ll be applying your knowledge as you’re learning! Your instructor will have weekly office hours and can provide email support. You’ll be in a Slack group with all your classmates, where info sharing and peer reviews and discussion are encouraged.
