About Lantera Education
Lantera Education aims to make valuable technical skills accessible to every person who wants them — especially those who have been historically left of the tech sector. Black, Native, and Latinx people are grossly underrepresented in the high-tech industry — 50% more so than in the rest of the private sector. This reality is maddening, and, to us, the solution is obvious: defy White, upper class gate-keeping by democratizing tech skills.
Our courses are designed for the tech novice. Whether you want to switch to a full-time career in tech, level up your small business, or test the waters of what the industry has to offer – our intro courses are designed for everyone. And they are offered at zero cost.
We’ve crafted our courses to fit into busy schedules. The curricula serve up real world skills that companies often seek for entry-level roles. We’re not a for-profit bootcamp falsely promising a full technical education & a job at the end. We’re a small nonprofit organization that believes in free, accessible, and useful education for the modern world.
